Introduction
The Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Helicopter Association (RAFSARHA) was formed by merging the 202 Squadron Association and the 22 Squadron Associations.
Ethos for the Conduct of RAFSARHA
To promote the continuing friendship and comradeship of the RAF SAR Helicopter community.
Membership
The membership of the RAFSARHA was formed by combining the membership of both the 202 and 22 Squadron Association members. Two categories of membership are offered: Member and Honorary Membership.
Member will include:
> Anyone who has served on or with an RAF Search and Rescue Helicopter Unit (Squadron/Flight/Detachment)
> Current serving members of 22 and 202 Squadrons, regardless of the Squadron roles.
> Meteorological-era members of 202 Squadron
> "Friends" of RAF Search and Rescue Helicopters would be eligible for membership.
Membership fee is £10.00 a year.
Honorary Membership will be offered to:
> Members who reach 90 years of age.
> "Special case" members can be nominated for Honorary membership.
> Honorary Members will be offered free membership.
